Assembly and procurement

The products that we manufacture usually require complex assembly and testing. They are no larger than 58cm in size, with monthly volumes generally in the range of  500 handheld to 100 tabletop units. Our team consists mainly of skilled master engineers so we do not offer high-volume piecework services.

Production activities include preparing assembly groups, full assembly, testing and packaging. 

In advance of starting a new product, we go through a detailed preparation phase to define and document the most efficient processes and checkiists. Custom production & test rigs, team training and documentation ensure that each product has the same settings and produces the same predictable results.

We are also able to assist with the logistics by providing procurement support as required- working directly with your suppliers based on agreed stock levels and alerts.

Additional procurement services include securing possible supplier price reductions for your parts. Our specialist manufacturing partners in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany and Switzerland are often able to match high quality Asian pricing, with 30-day terms and lead times in weeks rather than months. This includes turning, sheet metal and injection moulded parts. We also work with an excellent Asian tool makers and PCB development, where costs and speed are often a third of even Eastern European companies.

Another advantage of a German address is the access to German pricing. In our experience, licencing agreements in Switzerland dictate that the same part can be as much as 30% cheaper in Germanyquire
